A new EPK for the UK tour of Legally Blonde The Musical has been released.
Legally Blonde The Musical, based on the film of the same name, follows sorority girl Elle Woods, who embarks on a quest to win her boyfriend Warner back after he breaks up with her for not being “serious” enough. She follows him to Harvard Law School, where she has to prove to herself and everyone around her that she is capable of becoming a lawyer, while staying true to herself.
The show features Amber Davies as Elle, Jamie Chatterton as Warner and George Crawford as Emmett. Elle’s sorority friends are played by Hannah Lowther (Margot), Rosanna Harris (Serena) and Remi Ferdinand (Pilar). Adam Cooper will play cut-throat law professor Callahan, while Karen Mavundukure plays the eccentric hairdresser Paulette.
Other cast members include Jocasta Almgill as Brooke, Annabelle Terry as Vivienne, Ty-Reece Stewart as Kyle and Bradley Delarosbel as Carlos. Keanna Bloomfield, James Lim, Aaron Shales, Jaime Tait, Daisy Twells, Louie Wood, Raiaz Fisher, Dylan Gordon-Jones, Lauren Hampton and Ollie Hart-Bradford make up the chorus.
Directed by Nikolai Foster and choreographed by Leah Hill, Legally Blonde has original music and lyrics byLaurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach. The set has been designed by Colin Richmond, while Tom Rogers is in charge of costume design, and Sam Cox heads wigs, hair and makeup design.
Legally Blonde The Musical opened at Curve Leicester on 7 February, and will tour the UK until January 2027. A full list of tour dates can be found on the show’s website.
